First Computer School Graduates
+
These are the first eleven computer school graduates of GEHOM, one of two ministries that are affiliated to us in Liberia, Africa. (Click on the photo to enlarge it.)
Apostle Clinton (in the red shirt) of God’s Empowering Holistic Outreach Ministries chaired their graduation of ten males and one female who were blessed to receive free scholarships.
He says: “It was just by God’s grace to have as a free scholarship to help the people here in Rural Mission Liberia, Grand Gedeh County.”
More photos of the graduation can be seen in our Africa Gallery.
This is one of many valuable things that GEHOM seeks to do. It is imparting job skills through occupational training and helping to empower people to be job creators. This is vital in a country that is still recovering from the lingering effects of two civil wars and the consequent economic dislocation.
About 85% of the people of Liberia live below the international poverty line.
