Hilltop Healing
After our service at the Hilltop Seniors Village yesterday, we went to visit a resident who was suffering from back pain. As we entered, she said “You’ll have to excuse me for not getting up — my back is hurting so bad.” This was confirmed by her daughter who was there as her carer during this time.
We replied, “We know. That’s why we’re here.” So then we prayed with her.
Twenty minutes later, as we were getting ready to leave, she rose from her sofa to show us something. I said, “Do you realize what you just did?” She said, “What did I do?” I said, “You just stood up easily with no pain.” She paused to think about it for a moment or two and then said, “I DID, didn’t I!”
