Healing Scriptures

Read these out loud once, twice or three times a day, as your daily “medicine”. Continually speaking or hearing these verses from the Word of God with faith can bring healing. Commit these verses to memory and repeat them often. Have a family member or friend read them to you if need be.

In My Name… they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:18

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Romans 8:11 NLT

I shall not die but live and declare the works of the LORD. Psalm 118:17

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3

He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20

But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

… that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.’ Matthew 8: 17

He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22

…I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. 2 Kings 20:5

Behold I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Jeremiah 32:27

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the LORD. Jeremiah 30:17

And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you. Deuteronomy 7:15

.. .If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you. Exodus 15:26

A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones Proverbs 17:21

Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones. Proverbs 3:7-8 Amplified

Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the hillside. Look! A leper is approaching. He kneels before him, worshipping. “Sir,” the leper pleads, “If you want to, you can heal me.” Jesus touches the man. “I want to,” he says. “Be healed.” And instantly the leprosy disappears. Matthew 8:1-3 TLB

If you do these things, God will shed his own glorious light upon you. He will heal you; your godliness will lead you forward, and goodness will be a shield before you, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind. Then, when you call, the Lord will answer. “Yes, I am here,” he will quickly reply. Isaiah 58:8-9 TLB

The fear of the LORD prolongs days, but the years of the wicked will be shortened. Proverbs 10:27

There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, but the tongue of the wise promotes health. Proverbs 12:18

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Proverbs 15:4

So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23:25-26

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days… Deuteronomy 30:19-20

He also taught me, and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words; keep my commands, and live.” Proverbs 4:4

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:15

But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. Malachi 4:2 TLB

Blessings on all who reverence and trust the Lord – on all who obey him! Their reward shall be prosperity and happiness. Your wife shall be contented in your home. And look at all those children! There they sit around the dinner table as vigorous and healthy as young olive trees. That is God’s reward to those who reverence and trust him. Psalm 128:1-4 TLB

The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen. Isaiah 32:3

No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. Psalm 91:10

And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, “Live!” Yes, I said to you in your blood, “Live!” Ezekiel 16:6

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19

Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass. Joshua 21:45

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” Jeremiah 1:12

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:18-19

… He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God. Romans 4:20

Again, it was faith that enabled Sarah to conceive (though she was past the age for child-bearing), because she felt sure that He who had given her the promise would not fail her. Hebrews 11:11 (TCNT)

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Galatians 3:13

… above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Ephesians 6:16

… being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

… for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5-6

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. Hebrews 10:35

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us……..was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:19-20

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us– whatever we ask– we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony… Revelation 12:11

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
