Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You (Ps. 56:3 NKJV)

  1. The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 NIV
  2. Jesus has given me a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace he has given me is a gift the world cannot give. So I will not be troubled or afraid.  John 14:27
  3. For God has not given me a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
  4. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate me from God’s love. Romans 8:38
  5. I pray to the Lord, and he answers me. He frees me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4

Though a thousand may fall at my side, though ten thousand may be dying around me, these evils will not touch me. Psalm 91:4-8

  20. Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety for me. Proverbs 29:25

  25. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If I am afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that I have not fully experienced his perfect love. 1 John 4:18
  26. The Lord watches over me because I fear him and rely on his unfailing love. Psalm 33:18
  27. I say to my fearful heart, “Be strong, and do not fear, for my God is coming to destroy my enemies. He is coming to save me.” Isaiah 35:4

  29. For the Lord my God is living in me. He’s a mighty Savior. He delights in me with gladness. With his love, he calms all my fears. He rejoices over me with joyful songs. Zephaniah 3:17
  30. I’ll not be afraid of those who want to kill my body but cannot touch my soul. I’ll fear only my God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matt 10:28
  31. I have been rescued from my enemies so I can serve my God without fear, in holiness and righteousness for as long as I live. Luke 1:74-75
