Busy, Busy
It’s been a busy month for us in the ways that pastors are always busy — home visits, hospital visits, and so on — as well, of course, in the day-to-day administration of the church and ministry.
Lion & Eagle Christian Center, our church, continues to grow — spiritually, as well as in numbers. Our services are truly led of the Holy Spirit and always uplifting and powerful. We may be a house church for now, but we are a powerful church; and we have witnessed heavenly visitations of various kinds.
We are looking forward to the month of August. On Sunday August 7 at 6:00 p.m. we start a new “I Saw Heaven” course, which is always faith strengthening. You can read about it on our Kingdom Schools page. All are welcome.
The men of the church are going late-night bowling afterwards at 9:00 p.m. You can join us for that too, if you’re a male and as unskilled as we are…..
On Saturday August 20, we are having a church picnic combined with a household items exchange.
In September, on Saturday the 17th at noon, the ladies will be having a Ladies Luncheon with a special guest speaker. A light lunch will be served. All ladies are welcome, and can bring other ladies! Prior booking is essential, however, no later than the week before. It’s a free lunch, but a love offering will be taken.
