Battle-cry 2022
We need to examine ourselves and reflect as we move into 2022 that though we are in the world, we are not of the world. We are called to walk against its flow. We are to be salt and light—and we cannot be salt and light if we wallow in agreement with the world in sin, darkness, and fear.
We are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28) and Jesus is our Rock (1 Cor. 10:4). If we are faithful to Him, we will stand up for truth, righteousness, and justice. Truth is not relative but absolute, and it is Jesus.
He is the Truth. He said so. And, it is so. If this makes us unpopular, welcome to the good fight!
If we say we are friends of God, we cannot also be friends with the world. John the Baptist spoke against hypocrisy, wrongdoing, unfairness, and injustice; and Jesus did too. We will pray for those who persecute us, we will trust and not be afraid.
Come, Lord Jesus!
